At Reborn Rescue, we are dedicated to transforming lives, both human and canine through the power of compassion and recovery. Our mission is to bridge the journey of substance use recovery with the healing presence of small, rescued dogs, fostering a nurturing environment where both can thrive together.

Through our unique integration of Animal-Assisted Therapy,
we provide individuals in recovery with the emotional support, confidence, and purpose needed to rebuild their lives. We go beyond rescue, empowering individuals with comprehensive, no-cost support to start and sustain their own businesses, or a path to employment. Creating opportunities for lasting stability.

Many of our dogs have faced incredible challenges, and we are committed to providing them with the care, rehabilitation, and placement they need to thrive. Whether they find a permanent place as an ambassador at our rescue or a loving forever home. Our dream is to live in a world where every dog knows what it means to be safe, cherished, and truly home.
Together, we are building a community where recovery and renewal go hand in paw, giving every rescue, human and canine the fresh start they deserve.

My Story
My name is Shannon Vivero, and I know what it means to fight for a life worth living. Throughout my 20's, I struggled with alcoholism, lost in a cycle of pain and hopelessness.
But through recovery, I found healing in the most unexpected place, dogs. Their unconditional love, resilience, and ability to trust again, even after experiencing unimaginable situations, reflected my own journey.

That’s why I started Reborn Rescue, to give both dogs and people in recovery a fresh start. I specialize in rescuing small dogs, making sure they receive the care, love, and forever homes they deserve. But my mission is bigger than just saving animals. Through Animal-Assisted Therapy, my goal is to help others in recovery find purpose, stability, and hope, just as I did.

Every rescued dog reminds me that no one is beyond saving. Through Reborn Rescue, I’m creating a place where healing happens, for both people and pets, one paw print at a time.
